Growing up I loved George Strait. I'm not sure how it happened, but I loved him. I own a very large selection of his released albums and used to frequent them often in the car. Over the years, George and I have grown apart. He was replaced with Disney music, KSBJ, and most recently a silent radio so I can enjoy sweet conversations with my girl. One day a few weeks ago Nixon asked if we could listen to some Christmas music since it is "almost" her birthday. I inquired about the specific type of music she wanted to hear and she quickly explained that George Strait would be her choice. I have no idea how he snuck into Nixon's life, but somehow he did.
