Death By Disney

Well, we are home. And we had an amazing time! But, it didn't come without some stress. The night before we left for our trip, I took my dose of medicine I was hoping would keep me from getting sick on the plane. Since having Nixon, I get VERY sick on plane trips. Well, it turns out the medicine makes me sick too. So, I spent the entire night before our trip sick! And most of the plane trip there also. I had to be careful most of the trip on riding rides, but still had a blast. The night before we headed home, Nixon woke up sick in the middle of the night and was sick most of the plane ride home! We walked into our house and crashed. Seventeen hours of sleep later, here we are . . . ready to head back to work. Ha! We had such a wonderful time at Disney and made TONS of magical memories. But, Dorothy was a pretty smart girl when she said there really is no place like home!

Disney Day 4- Animal Kingdom

The 3-D movie It's Tough Being a Bug! Loved this!! It would be hard to top our days at The Magic Kingdom, but Animal Kingdom comes CLOSE! This park was amazing!!! We loved The Tree of Life, the incredible Safari where we saw all kinds of wildlife, and Nixon's favorite ride on the entire trip- Expedition Everest. This was a HUGE coaster that many grown men were scared to go on. Not our girl! She loved it! We were sad to see our Disney trip come to an end, but we had so much fun!

Disney Day 2- The Magic Kingdom

Tom Sawyer's Island Nixon's face when she first saw Cinderella's Castle! Waiting on the Monorail The Castle at Night before the Parade of Lights One Excited Girl!!! Day 2 at Disney was magical, of course! We headed to the Magic Kingdom and spent all day riding rides and taking in the sites of Disney. We LOVED the castle, the parade and the light show! We barely made it through this long, busy day . . . and headed back to the hotel for a very needed rest!!
