River Trip 2013

We had another year of fun at the river with family.  Crazy me didn't take any pictures!  Guess I was just having too much fun to stop and think about pictures.  Lucky for me, there were others around who snapped some shots of our fun trip.  Nixon especially loved jumping off of the wall next to our condo into the river.  Crazy girl!  No fear for this little one.

Woodlands Church VBS

I love that our church not only works so hard to entertain the kids as they teach them about the love of Jesus, but they also educate them about the needs of others.  Nixon LOVED making meals for families who go without this week at VBS.  She learned a whole new level of compassion for others, and that makes me smile!

My Reader

I love that Nixon loves to read.  She often finds a quiet spot and just reads.  I love that she allows her imagination to roam!  Here she was taking in a little quiet time at Nana and Papa's on the balcony reading.

Firework

My cutie pie showing off her shirt that Nana made her to celebrate the 4th.  She was enjoying picking up sea shells before the firework show at the lake.

Celebrate Freedom Parade

Two of my favorite people walking in the parade with two of my favorite dogs. My best friend of 30 years riding her bicycle built for two with her honey. Me and My Girl One of my favorite traditions is the Bradley Street July 4th Parade.  Wouldn't miss if for the world!  I love celebrating our freedom with friends and family!  Roxie loved it this year too.

A Few of My Favorite Things

I recently asked mom to pull out some old photos.  These are two of my favorites!  The top one is my mom at a surprise wedding shower the amazing teacher threw for me before I married Bryan.  I love this picture!  The second one is my dad giving me my diploma when I graduated from Trinity Valley.  This was such a special moment and this is truly one of my most cherished pictures!  And look at all of that curly hair.  Crazy!!  I love walking down memory lane.
