1 Samuel 1:27 I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of Him. Hard to believe this little guy is still around. Looks like we are really having a baby. Goodness knows he is an answer to prayers. Of course, the prayers were a decade ago . . . but hey, God doesn't make mistakes. This pregnancy has been a challenge. That might actually be the understatement of the year. Between swelling, non-stop rashes all of my skin, wearing a heart monitor that causes big red blisters, non-stop doctor visits with three different types of specialists, contractions WAY too early, daily nausea . . . yes still . . . among many, many other wonderful things . . . this pregnancy has NOT been fun. But this little baby boy is a huge blessing that will change our family forever. I have no doubt that Nixon will be the best big sister and will help mold him into an amazing person just like her. We are blessed indeed!
