Last Day Best Day

Last day of Senior Year!                                                              First day of Kinder!

Luckiest Mom in the World

Not only did I win the Mom lottery by having the best mom in the world, I also have the best kids in the world.  They made me feel loved today.

If You Know, You Know

I was lucky enough to have a mom that sewed amazing things for me and my kids!  But don't mess with her fabric scissors!

Winning

I win.  Like always win.  I am kind of famous at my school for ALWAYS winning.  We have monthly lunches provided by our PTA and I have won a gift card all but one time this year.  I won at Bingo when we played at a staff development and THEN won a door prize also.  This time my team decided I wasn't allowed to enter the drawing.  I laughingly agreed and figured it was ok to not win just this once.  As we sat down to eat, they announced that someone had a mark on the bottom of their plate and would win a beautiful plant.  I won!  You can't stop me from being the luckiest girl in the world!

Cutie Pie

While digging through pictures to create Nixon's senior scrapbooks, I couldn't help but stop on this one.  This little nugget made my day!

Mom's Big Helper

Sometimes we have to stay late and work with kids who need a little extra push for the STAAR test.  Elliot is such a trooper and just entertains himself while I work.  Love my creative kiddos!

Hoot and a Half

He started the timer during one of our Oklahoma visits.  And never stopped it.  I am not even sure what this time means!

Fashion Forward

This kid cracks me up.  Not only does he take his daily fashion choices VERY seriously, he likes to pose for pictures.  I love this boy!

Crazy Dog

He may be crazy, but he sure is a great snuggler too! Muddy footprints are a daily annoyance at my house.  Insert eye roll here.                                                                        Charlie likes hugs.   Look how sweet he is all tucked into the warm blanket while I wash the couch cover that he spread mud all over.   And now look what he did!  Yes . . . he destroyed the couch cushion WHILE I was washing it because HE got it muddy.   Muddy footprints in the shower.   "Wallering" on my bed, no doubt getting it nasty! Size perspective of our gentle giant!

Fall Festival

Elliot and I had so much fun attending the Tough Fall Festival.  It was his first one, so we had to do ALL the things!  We pet goats and pigs, built balloon hats, painted his face, picked out prizes, and had a yummy snow cone!  Good times!

Hot Natured

Feels Like Home

I think we completely underestimated how our home would feel after moving so much of our stuff out of it in an effort to get it ready to show.  Don't get me wrong, it looks really clean.  But sooooo empty.  And Elliot is missing his stuff.  Especially his shelf.  Se I ordered him a small shelf to get him by.  And I needed it as much as he did!

First Skate Party

Elliot was invited to his first skate party.  So, we made it a family affair.  And let's just say 50% of us are NOT good skaters.  Bryan basically pulled Elliot to the ground over and over.  And it was a long way for him to fall!  And Nixon found a gracious child to help her learn.  But eventually, she gave up and guided Nixon to take off her skates and walk.  Elliot considers himself Olympic material.  I don't have the heart to tell him his expectations were set pretty low with his Dad and Sis!

Kindergarten School Picture

Love this boy and his overalls!

Love is Patient

I love days when my frothy creamer makes a heart.  It always feels like a lucky day!

Another Year

Finding this note made my year.  I sure do miss him.  Happy birthday Dad.

He Loves Her, He Loves Her Not

One minute he is helping her doctor her feet from her pretty prom shoes.  The next minute he is typing her shoes up onto the shelves.  Brothers!

Senior Prom 2023

This picture makes me smile.  I love seeing my kid have so much fun! Nixon's Mom-Created Prom Hair What Nixon Said Her Hair Resembled Showing off their UIL medals.  These girls are headed to STATE!!!! What an amazing group of beautiful girls!  They all looked like such ladies!  I am so proud of my girl and her group of wonderful young ladies.  I am proud of our little cowboy too . . . who couldn't resist some pictures!
